Furthermore, the return of season 27 delivered the best average P18-49 share in 27 years and its most watched season in six years.

The series boasts an impressive critical legacy to match its ratings power. The show has won the Primetime Emmy for Outstanding Animated Program five times and received 20 nominations overall.
