SOOP opens dedicated event page for 2026 LoL World Championship
Streaming platform SOOP opened a dedicated page for user-participation events tied to the 2026 League of Legends World Championship, running from October 16 to November 15, reported on October 15. The tournament ranks as the most prestigious event concluding a full year of League of Legends esports. SOOP arranged programs aligned with tournament schedules, allowing users to receive diverse rewards while watching matches.
Event Programming Across Tournament Stages
The campaign spans the entire tournament schedule, incorporating live-viewing missions, match predictions, and cheer programs designed to award viewers while they watch the matches. A drops event grants a total of 100,000 Hextech Chest and Key sets through random draws based on viewing time across different tournament stages. Official broadcasts also distribute random redeem codes for live gems. The ‘Mission Advent Calendar’ method provides different rewards whenever users accomplish missions assigned on each match day. New emoticons for SOOP partner squads Gen.G, T1, and Dplus KIA participating in Worlds are available for free, with participation methods and rewards listed on the SOOP eSports dedicated page.
Viewers Unlock Prizes Through Cheering and Match Predictions
Viewers can select a team from participating LCK franchises through the ‘Cheer Gauge’ feature to unlock prize draws upon hitting target levels, with chosen team logos appearing next to usernames in the SOOP LCK official broadcast chat. The ‘Match Prediction’ event, which requires guessing the win-loss outcomes of all Worlds matches, provides opportunities to secure prizes for both top-ranking scorers and general participants alike.
SOOP Streams Tournament Matches with Designated Streamers
All tournament matches stream live via the SOOP LCK official broadcast channel, featuring seven designated streamers: Kim Min-kyo, Lee Sang-ho, Ahn Hyung-suya, Smapim, Gamjigabi, Dudan, and Gosegu. Additional broadcasts run on the official channels of LCK partner teams DNS and KRX, with active LCK players also slated to participate in commentary. Play-in stages kick off on October 16, leading into Swiss and knockout stages ahead of the November 15 finals.
