Son heung-Min to Say Farewell at​ Tottenham Champions League Match

LONDON – Former Tottenham Hotspur captain Heung-Min Son will​ return to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to personally thank supporters⁢ during Tuesday’s UEFA champions League fixture against SK slavia Praha. The appearance marks ‍Son’s first return to North London since​ announcing ⁣his departure from the club in August.

Son concluded his decade-long tenure with Spurs in a final match played in Seoul, South Korea, on August 15th, captivating a sold-out crowd at the⁢ Seoul World Cup Stadium. He previously captained the team⁢ to Europa League victory ⁢in Bilbao in May.

Following⁣ his departure, Son joined Los Angeles FC in Major league​ Soccer, where he recorded nine goals in ten appearances before his team’s Play-Off exit⁣ on November 23rd following a defeat to the Vancouver ​Whitecaps. He ⁣has selected the Slavia Praha match as the occasion to address the Tottenham faithful.

Son will appear on the ‌pitch ⁤prior to the team’s entrance ahead of the 20:00 kick-off. He will⁤ then address the supporters who⁢ embraced him after his arrival from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015. Further⁢ details regarding timings will be communicated to ticket holders before the match.
