Sommerhaus der Stars: New Couple Arrives as Hati and Alex Face Relationship Crisis
In the eleventh season of RTL’s reality show “Das Sommerhaus der Stars,” contestants Hati Suárez and Alex Molz are facing a severe relationship crisis during the fifth episode, broadcast on Tuesday at 20:15 on RTL and available on RTL+. As newcomers enter the house, the dynamic between Suárez and Molz deteriorates amid challenges, tears, and public arguments.
The Escalating Conflict Between Hati Suárez and Alex Molz
In every season of the format, one specific couple tends to struggle more with internal friction than with external competitors. For the eleventh edition, that role has fallen to 26-year-old Hati Suárez and 30-year-old Alex Molz. At the start of the fifth episode, their ongoing war of attrition continues as Suárez complains about Molz’s smoking habits. During a spelling challenge where couples must construct nouns out of letter stones and thread them onto a string, tensions mount further. While Anna Lisson shares game tactics with Ferry Pall and Kathy Hartlieb, Suárez and Molz fail to hand in a completed chain.
During the challenge, Suárez and Molz fall out yet again, leading Suárez to label Molz a “weak human” and banish him from their bed. Suárez states that the relationship, which has existed since 2025, is “on the brink.” Molz walks away and breaks down in tears in private. Later, Suárez confides to rival Anita Latifi that she wanted to laugh out loud at Molz’s emotional display. Instigated by Latifi, Nico Legat immediately relays this comment to Molz. When Molz confronts Suárez, she denies the remarks and expresses disappointment that he believes a rival over her. Although the two temporarily reconcile with declarations of love, the peace is short-lived. The next morning, Molz criticizes Suárez’s outfit choices in the house, demanding that she cover up.
New Arrivals and Arena Eklats
The episode also features the arrival of the first replacement couple following the voluntary departure of Vanessa Neigert and Giovanni Weisheit in the previous episode. Entertainer Julian F. M. Stoeckel, 39, and his partner, 31-year-old puppet designer Marcell Damaschke—described as an “old married couple”—join the cast. Before meeting the rest of the group, they are sent directly into the arena alongside the other contestants for a trivia and disreputable food challenge.

During this arena game, another blowout occurs between Suárez and Molz. When Suárez gives up on a question, Molz slams the table so hard that a glass shatters. In response, Suárez empties a glass of water into his face. Michelle Daniaux and Sandro ultimately win the challenge and secure immunity from the upcoming nomination.
Alliances and Nominations
Upon finally entering the house, Stoeckel and Damaschke find themselves courted by competing factions. Nico Legat claims a special bond with Stoeckel due to a friendship with Legat’s father, Thorsten Legat, though Stoeckel questions this connection publicly by asking who Legat is. Rather than a formal elimination vote, the episode concludes with a mood gauge. Anita Latifi formulates a plan to target Stoeckel and Damaschke while trying to pin the move on the opposing alliance, though the rival group quickly sees through the strategy. Ultimately, Anita Latifi and Fabrice receive the highest number of votes, leaving them vulnerable heading into the next episode.
