Mission Valley to Host “Something Wicked” Festivity Ahead of “Wicked: For Good” Premiere
SAN DIEGO, CA – november 16, 2024 – Mission valley is gearing up for a family-kind event celebrating the upcoming release of “Wicked: For Good,” with “Something Wicked” scheduled for Friday, November 22, from 4 p.m.to 7 p.m. in the AMC Court. The event promises an afternoon of entertainment, community support, and themed activities for all ages.
Guests will have the opportunity to capture memorable photos with characters inspired by Elphaba and Glinda. A live performance by the Trinity Theatre Company will also take center stage, and attendees can meet the cast and learn about their upcoming productions at the Trinity Theatre booth. DJ Sass will provide music throughout the event, complemented by whimsical entertainment from the Bubble Pirate.
The first 100 attendees will enjoy a free slime-making activity at the Slime Kitchen, creating pink and green slime. Additional “Wicked”-themed slime will be available for purchase.
Beyond the fun, “something Wicked” will also feature opportunities to give back to the community.The Princess Project will be on-site accepting prom dress donations and recruiting volunteers to support local teens. Visitors can also participate in a Plinko game for a chance to win prizes from participating retailers. Mission Valley is also hosting an ongoing One Warm Coat drive, encouraging guests to donate new or gently used coats to benefit local families in need this season.
