Ryzen 7 9850X3D Powers System with Radeon RX 9070 XT
The system centers on the Ryzen 7 9850X3D, a processor functioning as an overclocked variant of the Ryzen 7 9800X3D with a 5.6GHz boost clock across its 8 cores and 16 threads. PC Guide noted that the chip’s defining performance characteristic is its 96MB L3 cache, which stores game data directly on the die to reduce memory latency.
Graphics output is handled by the Radeon RX 9070 XT equipped with 16GB of GDDR6 VRAM running on AMD’s RDNA 4 architecture. Testing by PC Guide of an ASUS Prime RX 9070 XT OC variant showed the architecture delivers native 4K gaming capabilities in AAA titles, aided by FSR 4 upscaling, while outperforming the competing RTX 5070 in productivity and artificial intelligence workloads.

Liquid Cooler Prevents Throttling for DDR5 Memory System
Sustaining peak clock speeds on an overclockable processor requires powerful thermal control. The Skytech build integrates a 360mm ARGB all-in-one liquid CPU cooler to prevent thermal throttling during extended processing loads and gaming sessions.
System memory consists of 32GB of DDR5 6000 RAM paired with a 2TB Gen4 NVMe solid-state drive. This configuration provides adequate memory bandwidth for parallel process execution, heavy multitasking, and asset rendering without data bottlenecks.
Other Pre-Built Desktop Options Feature Ryzen 9 and RTX 5080
