Sirens Live Session: Exploring Identity & Illusion in New Music | [Artist Name]

March 20, 2026 Julia Evans – Entertainment Editor Entertainment

Italian singer-songwriter Cesare Augusto Giorgini has released a live session of his song “Sirene” (“Sirens”), offering a stripped-down interpretation of the track from his latest album, Mondovecchio. The session was recorded at Sottoilmare Studios in Verona, Italy.

Giorgini described the live session as an effort to return the song to a more intimate dimension, allowing the atmospheres and narrative to emerge with greater clarity. He stated that presenting the song in a more essential form allowed him to focus on its narrative aspects, giving space to the music and its emotional nuances.

“Sirene” explores the dual nature of the sirens’ call – the allure, promise, and attraction on one hand, and the risk of losing one’s way on the other. Giorgini frames the song as a metaphor for the illusions and seductions inherent in the entertainment world, reflecting the tension between dreams and reality, and the struggle to maintain artistic integrity within a career.

The recording process at Sottoilmare Studios, located in Povegliano Veronese, aimed to recreate a suspended, intimate atmosphere where each instrument could contribute to the song’s story without overwhelming it. The resulting version prioritizes the vocals and the interplay between the musical parts, highlighting the song’s fragility, and humanity.

The live session featured Marco Garbin on drums, Giada Ferrarin on guitar, Yassmine Jabrane on bass synth, and Letizia Sovieni on piano. The video was directed by Francesco Diana, with audio recording handled by Edoardo Carli. The project received support from Labor Work of Officina Pasolini.

Sottoilmare Studios, a professional recording studio in the Verona province, currently has over 1,400 followers on Instagram and over 3,200 likes on Facebook, according to their respective social media pages.
