Shivraj Singh Chauhan Reflects on Leadership Test During CM Transition at Kirar Community Event
Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh – Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan addressed the Kirar community in a gathering today, revealing the recent change in leadership tested his leadership skills and emphasizing his commitment too the community’s progress. Chauhan stated the period following his removal as CM, especially while serving as Union Agriculture Minister in Delhi, presented challenges to systems he had established in the state.
During the event, Chauhan lauded the Kirar Samaj’s self-reliance, highlighting their decision to independently fund and construct a community building in the capital city rather than seeking government assistance. The building is nearing completion, a feat celebrated by community leaders.
Sadhana Singh Chauhan, National President of Kirar Samaj, acknowledged Chauhan’s role in the advancement of the community, noting his contribution to the election of Kirar representatives to both Parliament – darshan Singh and Rodmal Nagar – and the Madhya Pradesh State Assembly, including Manoj Patel (Depalpur) and Narendra Patel (Udaypura), the latter currently serving as a minister in the state government.
“Shivraj ji, you have transformed Madhya Pradesh from a ‘Bimaru’ state to a developed state,” Sadhana Singh Chauhan stated. She further credited Chauhan with inspiring her to achieve success through hard work and honesty, adding that the Kirar community, largely agrarian, strives to “turn soil into gold.”
