“She Fooled Us All”: L’amour est dans le pré‘s Pierrick Alizes Accuses livie of Manipulating Show to Rekindle past Relationship
Pierrick Alizes, a candidate from the 2024 season of the French dating show L’amour est dans le pré (Love is in the Meadow), has revealed that his connection with Livie was built on deception. The revelation comes ahead of the season’s balance sheet episode, airing on M6 on Monday, November 24, and is currently available on M6+ Max.
Alizes told host Karine Le Marchand that while their connection began with physical intimacy during the farm stay – “we kissed,we were hand in hand” – it abruptly shifted when cameras stopped rolling. He recounts being told to sleep on the sofa at Livie’s home despite having shared a bed during filming.
According to Alizes,Livie confessed to using him to provoke a reaction from a former boyfriend. “She said to me ‘you sleep ther, because I want to reconnect with my boyfriend’,” Alizes stated. “Before the show, she had someone she had a good time with, but nothing serious. She wanted more, but he didn’t, so she stopped with him. She used me to put pressure on him to come back and ask her for a relationship.”
Le Marchand confirmed that footage documenting Livie’s behavior existed but was withheld from broadcast due to its incomprehensibility and dishonesty. “She lied about everything. She used us all,” Le Marchand explained.
Despite initial heartbreak and a period of depression following the revelation, Alizes has since found love with a woman named Annick, after receiving her letter from production earlier than usual due to his distress. He surprised Le Marchand by introducing Annick during the filming of the balance sheet episode.
