The apparent knee injury sustained by Seth Rollins during WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event against LA Knight has been confirmed as a pre-planned angle.According to the latest issue of the *Wrestling Observer Newsletter*,dave Meltzer corroborated an earlier report from John Pollock,stating that the injury was part of an orchestrated storyline.
The current plan is for Rollins to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase at SummerSlam. This anticipated cash-in is expected to occur during or immediately following the World Championship match between Gunther and CM Punk.
meltzer also indicated that very few individuals within WWE were privy to the fact that Rollins’ injury was a work, with the majority of backstage personnel believing it to be legitimate.
