San Diego, CA – A diverse lineup of events kicks off this weekend in San Diego, offering entertainment ‌ranging from‌ a new film⁣ festival to a gourmet dining experience and professional‍ soccer. Here’s a guide to happenings from Sept. 26-28.

The inaugural Hidden City film Festival will showcase short films at Regal Cinema,​ 350 W. Valley Parkway, from Sept. 26-28. The festival features a “Feature of the Day” screening, curated short film ‍showcases, ⁣filmmaker Q&As, and an awards ceremony recognizing⁢ excellence​ in categories like Best Narrative, Best Documentary,⁤ Pocket Cinema and Stories of Belonging. For culinary enthusiasts,Duckhorn Vineyards is the featured partner at⁢ the Chef’s Table experience⁢ at the Catamaran Resort​ Hotel,3999 Mission​ Blvd. Tonight, executive ⁢chef Bryan stuppy and chef de cuisine Alex⁤ miranda⁣ will present a four-course meal with seasonal produce, seafood, and meats, each ⁢course paired with ‍a Duckhorn⁢ Vineyards wine. Belmont Park, 3146 Mission Blvd., is extending the ⁢fun with “Family Fun Fridays” through Nov. 21.
