Da Nang Unveils Ambitious Water Recreation Plan: A New Era for coastal Tourism
Da Nang, Vietnam, is poised to become a premier destination for water-based recreation, with a comprehensive plan set to transform its coastline and rivers. Teh Da Nang people’s Commitee has greenlit a project aimed at developing diverse water entertainment activities, enhancing tourism, and boosting the local economy. the initiative,slated for implementation from 2025 to 2030,promises a harmonious blend of tourism advancement and environmental stewardship.
Coastal Transformation: Zones and Activities
The plan envisions a vibrant coastal strip dedicated to maritime underwater entertainment.This zone will stretch 15,300 meters along the coast, connecting key areas like the yellow dust-reservoir-yen acupressure-Dongsa region. Another focal point is the Nguyen Dynasty coastal area, extending 5,700 meters from Tone Dam to the south of South Korea along Nguyen Dynasty Street.
The Sontra Peninsula coastal area,in front of the Bai Buddha tourist destination project,will span 65 hectares,with an additional 97.5 hectares extending from the Bai Buddha project to the Bien -dong tourist destination and the handtra high -end tourism service complex project. These areas will host a variety of entertainment options tailored to their unique characteristics.
Riverfront Renaissance: The Han River’s New Appeal
The Han River is set to become a central hub for water recreation, with a designated waterfront area stretching approximately 2 kilometers from the Han River Bridge to the Dunty Bridge. This area will feature activities for both power and asynchronous vehicles, subject to regulations ensuring safety and environmental protection.
