Here, companies have access to digital manufacturing machines such as 3D printers, CNC milling machines and laser cutters. Through various workshops, employees learn about the devices and can develop their own application ideas for their company.
The OpenLab Mobile, which is operated by SĂĽderelbe AG, is currently in use at SCHOLZ MECHANIK in Hamburg-Hausbruch. Not only are knowledge and skills imparted here, but gripper components for robots are also manufactured.
Senator for Economic Affairs Dr. Melanie Leonhard visits the company and exchanges ideas with workshop participants about the use of the technology in Hamburg companies.
