Morelos State SEDIF Empowers adults with Self-Esteem Workshop
Cuernavaca, Morelos – September 29, 2025 – The State of Morelos’ System for Integral Family Advancement (SEDIF) is actively investing in the emotional well-being of its adult population. Recently,SEDIF,through its Directorate of Family Development and Strengthening (DDYFF),concluded a well-received workshop titled “Water Your Inner Garden: Strengthening Your Self-Esteem.” The free programme aimed to foster personal growth, enhance self-worth, and ultimately contribute to stronger family units across the state.
Held in a face-to-face format, the workshop provided a valuable space for attendees to engage in guided reflection and learning. Facilitated by the Department of Human Development and Psychology, participants took part in interactive exercises designed to identify personal strengths, improve interpersonal relationships – both within and outside the family – and cultivate positive emotional habits. The emphasis was on practical tools and techniques participants could integrate into their daily lives.
Lydia Patricia Romero Brindis, Director of family Development and Strengthening, underscored the importance of creating opportunities for self-discovery. “It is indeed essential to open spaces that allow people to meet themselves, recognize their value, and strengthen their self-esteem,” she stated. “Investing in individual emotional health is a direct investment in the health and resilience of our communities.”
This initiative aligns with governor Margarita González Saravia’s commitment to complete programs that prioritize emotional health and strengthen the social fabric of Morelos. SEDIF’s efforts are geared towards building more united communities and improving the overall quality of life for residents. The workshop represents a tangible step towards achieving these goals.
SEDIF continues to explore and implement innovative programs designed to support families and individuals throughout the State of Morelos. Further details about upcoming workshops and resources can be found on the SEDIF website (website address to be inserted here).
