Sean Carey, a resident of Tully, Aghadrumsee, Co. Fermanagh,has died peacefully at the South West Acute Hospital on Saturday,September 13th,surrounded by his family. The sudden loss has prompted an outpouring of support for the Carey family and the wider Aghadrumsee community.
Mr. Carey is survived by his mother,Margaret (Baby),and siblings Jacqueline,Ciaran (Catherine),Bernard,James (Rhonda),and Una (Roger). He was predeceased by his father, Ben. The family has announced details for viewing and the funeral,offering options for those wishing to pay their respects.
Reposing will take place at his home from 12.00 noon on sunday and again from 12.00 noon on Monday. Removal will be on Tuesday at 10.15a.m. for 11.00a.m. funeral Mass at St. Macartan’s Church,Aghadrumsee,followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. For those unable to attend in person, the funeral Mass will be live-streamed at https://www.churchservices.tv/aghadrumsee.
A shuttle bus will operate between st. Macartan’s Church, Aghadrumsee and Mr. Carey’s home from 4.00p.m. to 9.00p.m. on both Sunday and Monday to facilitate those wishing to visit.
Condolences can be left on the online page, subject to moderation, with identifiable data removed for privacy. A physical condolence book will also be available to the family thru the funeral director. Shannonside and Northern Sound have expressed their sympathy to the family and friends of the deceased.Messages of condolence will be held on the page for six months.
Mr. Carey will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews Gráinne, Caoimhe, Erin, Aoife, Beth, Ben, Cillian, Nathan and Max, and the entire family circle.
