Scream 7: Ranking Every Ghostface Killer So Far

A screen-used Ghostface mask from Scream 7 is slated to be auctioned off on October 16th, benefiting the Brooke Jackman Foundation, according to an announcement earlier this month.

The auction lot includes not only a mask used during filming of the latest installment in the horror franchise, but also a second, signed set mask bearing the signatures of Neve Campbell and Kevin Williamson. A unique, handmade Ghost Face Christmas figure is also part of the auction.

The listing of the mask comes amidst a legal dispute between Paramount Pictures, Spyglass, and Alterian Ghost Factory over the rights to the iconic Ghostface mask itself. Paramount and Spyglass filed a lawsuit in California federal court on February 6, 2026, alleging that Alterian Ghost Factory had improperly claimed ownership of the mask and threatened copyright litigation ahead of Scream 7’s release. The studios claim Alterian “intentionally slept on its purported rights” for thirty years, waiting until shortly before the film’s debut to attempt to “strong-arm” them into a multi-million dollar settlement.

The lawsuit asserts that the mask was properly licensed from Fun World, the costume company that originally created the design in 1991. Paramount and Spyglass argue that Alterian forfeited any claim to the mask by waiting decades after the first Scream film premiered in 1996 to raise objections.

Bidding for the screen-used mask will begin at $10,000, with increments of $200. The Christmas figure will start at $200, with bid increments of $50. Details about the auction can be found through the Brooke Jackman Foundation.
