The project, representing a $2 million (R$12 million) investment, aims to deliver renewable fuel directly to homes and businesses, marking a significant stride in Brazil’s commitment to sustainable energy.

Project Details and Timeline

Nécta Gás Natural is spearheading the installation of a 40-kilometer pipeline network designed to serve approximately 5,000 residences and 58 commercial establishments. The biomethane source is the Cocal Plant, located in the neighboring city of Narandiba, São Paulo. As of august 4th, the project was reported to be 50% complete, with 20 of the 41 kilometers of new pipelines already laid.
