Sant’Agata De’ Goti Hospital Faces⁤ Protest Over Limited Rehabilitation Services

Sant’Agata De’ Goti, Italy – A local ‍civic movement is planning a‍ demonstration tomorrow,⁣ demanding full ‍implementation of regional healthcare decree DCA 41/2019 before accepting a limited rollout of rehabilitation services at ‌the ⁢Sant’Agata De’ Goti⁤ hospital. The protest comes after⁢ regional manager De Luca announced the ‍activation of four rehabilitation beds starting December 1st, alongside plans for a new oncology center and helicopter rescue platform.

The “Civic Movement for the Sant’Agata de’ Goti⁤ hospital” ‍expressed disappointment with the phased approach, arguing that four rehabilitation places are insufficient without a fully functioning 24-hour emergency room and essential supporting departments. In a Facebook post, the movement ⁢stated, “We won’t do anything about four rehabilitation places if we don’t have⁣ a‌ 24-hour emergency room⁢ and key departments… We will have nothing to celebrate, nothing to⁢ toast as long⁢ as⁤ we are deprived of ‍essential services.Without the bases there can be‌ no ‍heights.”

The group’s concerns⁣ stem from a broader struggle to secure comprehensive healthcare services for the community. DCA 41/2019 ‌outlines provisions intended to improve hospital infrastructure and service availability in the region. The ‍Civic Movement believes a complete ‍fulfillment of the ⁣decree is⁢ necessary to ensure⁢ quality⁢ patient ⁢care and sustainable healthcare advancement in Sant’agata De’ Goti.

As of publication, the hospital has not responded ‌to requests for⁢ comment regarding ‍the planned protest or ‍the Civic Movement’s demands. The Facebook post announcing the demonstration has received ‍1 view.
