Family Mourned After Fatal Crash in Ñuble Region
A tragic traffic accident in the Ñuble region has left a San Carlos community reeling, claiming the lives of four family members on Saturday.The crash occurred on Camino a Nahueltoro, near kilometer 8, when the vehicle they were traveling in collided wiht a perimeter wall.
Authorities have identified the deceased as Manuel Manuel Larenas and a 17-year-old, whose initials are A.MLL. The family had reportedly spent the day together near a local river prior to the incident.
according to initial reports from the Public Ministry,the driver lost control of the vehicle for reasons currently under investigation.
The SIAT unit of carabineros de Chile is conducting a thorough investigation,including technical analysis and measurements at the crash site,to determine the cause of the accident. The Chillán Legal Medical Service has taken custody of the bodies for autopsies.
The Public Ministry stated the investigation will focus on identifying any contributing factors, including potential mechanical failures, road conditions, or other relevant elements that may have played a role in the tragedy.
