A San Antonio resident is starting the new year as a millionaire after claiming a top prize in the Texas Lottery’s scratch ticket game, “$1,000,000 Mega multiplier.” The winning ticket was purchased at a Circle K convenience store located on Blanco Road.
The lucky winner, identified as Spencer Heath, opted for the lump-sum payment, receiving $715,000 before taxes. This significant win offers Heath financial freedom adn the opportunity to pursue personal goals.The Texas lottery contributes all of its revenue to the state, funding vital programs like public education, veterans’ services, and assistance for those with mental health needs.
According to the Texas Lottery, the “$1,000,000 Mega Multiplier” ticket offers a variety of prizes, with overall odds of winning any prize at 1 in 2.91. This particular game launched in january 2024 and quickly became popular among lottery players across the state.
Heath, a digital journalist at KSAT, graduated from the University of texas at Austin with a degree in Radio-Television-Film and has been a journalist in San Antonio since June 2022.
