San Antonio House Fire: 2 Hospitalized, Cause Under Investigation

Two people were hospitalized Saturday following a house fire ⁣on San Antonio’s North ⁣Side, according to the​ San Antonio Fire ‍Department. Firefighters responded to the blaze ​in the 8300 block of Blanco ‌Oak Drive ‌shortly after​ 11:00 a.m.

The ⁤cause of the fire is currently under inquiry. The⁤ two ⁢individuals were transported to a local hospital for treatment⁣ of their injuries; their conditions are ​currently unknown.This incident ‌underscores the ongoing risk of residential​ fires and the critical ⁤importance of working smoke detectors. The San Antonio Fire Department routinely⁣ responds to structure fires‍ across the city, emphasizing the need‍ for fire safety awareness and⁣ preparedness among ‌residents.

KSAT 12 News reported that firefighters encountered heavy smoke and flames upon⁣ arrival. Crews worked ⁣quickly to extinguish the fire and rescue ⁤the occupants.
