Samsung Galaxy S27 Series Leaks: New Pro Model, Display Specs and Exynos 2700
Samsung Targets 47-48 Million Panels for Expanded Lineup
Samsung Display is preparing to ship 47 to 48 million AMOLED panels for the upcoming Galaxy S27 series starting in October 2026, marking a 10 percent volume increase over the previous generation driven primarily by a new model addition, according to South Korean media reports cited by GSMArena.
The production ramp-up highlights a strategic expansion in Samsung’s flagship smartphone portfolio. Last year, Samsung Display targeted approximately 40 million panels for the Galaxy S26 lineup. The addition of the Galaxy S27 Pro to the hardware family pushes total orders toward the level of nearly 50 million panels. Industry reports indicate that Samsung has requested 2 to 3 million display panels for the S27 Pro within 2026, followed by another 4 to 5 million units slated for production throughout 2027.
Galaxy S27 Family Includes Four Models and Exynos 2700
The Galaxy S27 family will arrive in early 2027 with four distinct configurations: the base Galaxy S27, the Galaxy S27+, the new Galaxy S27 Pro, and the top-tier Galaxy S27 Ultra.

Screen sizes span a narrow range across the standard and expanded models. The base Galaxy S27 features a 6.27-inch display, while the S27+ measures 6.66 inches. The newly introduced Galaxy S27 Pro steps in at 6.47 inches, and the flagship Galaxy S27 Ultra commands a 6.89-inch panel.
Alongside display manufacturing schedules, production for the Exynos 2700 chipset is already underway in large volumes to power the new devices, according to industry reporting. Meanwhile, hardware specifications for the highest-end models are taking shape through leaked supply chain details. Both the Galaxy S27 Pro and the Galaxy S27 Ultra will incorporate the Privacy Display feature previously highlighted on the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
Galaxy S27 Ultra Retains Front Profile but Changes Cameras
Leaked screen protectors and industry insider disclosures point toward a restrained visual overhaul for the premier device. Leakster Ice Universe shared protective film samples indicating that the front profile of the Galaxy S27 Ultra closely mirrors its predecessor, retaining a nearly identical shape and bezel proportion, according to SammyFans.
However, the rear chassis is expected to feature a restructured layout housing a vertical camera strip while dropping the 3x telephoto lens in favor of a dedicated 5x periscope lens.

Dimensions, Weight, and Retail Projections
Physical dimensions for the Ultra model maintain a slim profile. Ice Universe and CAD renders confirm the device thickness at approximately 7.9 millimeters, matching the thickness of the Galaxy S26 Ultra, as reported by Thaimobilecenter. Despite retaining the thin profile, device weight is projected to edge upward to 218 grams—a four-gram increase from the 214-gram S26 Ultra. Supply chain tracking links the slight weight gain to a potential battery capacity increase up to 5,700mAh.
