The move, which has not been confirmed by Samsung or BOE, would represent a departure from the company’s long-standing practice of using its own in-house display production for all Galaxy S flagship models. Research firm SigmaIntel, cited by multiple Thai-language tech outlets including Sanook.com and Thaimobilecenter, reported that Samsung is considering BOE as a secondary supplier for the base Galaxy S27 to help manage costs amid rising production expenses.
