Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: Release Date, Specs & AI Features Revealed
Samsung has officially set February 25, 2026, as the date for its Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco, where the company is expected to unveil its modern Galaxy S26 lineup, including the Galaxy S26, S26 Plus and S26 Ultra, alongside the Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro.
The event, marking Samsung’s return to San Francisco for a launch since 2020, will begin at 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET, 6 p.m. GMT, and 7 p.m. CET). This timing represents a shift back to late February, preceding Mobile World Congress (MWC), a schedule Samsung last followed in 2018 with the Galaxy S9 series.
Consumers can now participate in “Galaxy Reserve,” a pre-order program offering a $30 credit, potential trade-in savings of up to $900, and a chance to win a $5,000 gift card. The program extends to participating retailers including AT&T and Best Buy, with details from those partners forthcoming. Reservations will be open until 9:59 a.m. PT on February 25.
Samsung is promoting the event with a focus on artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, branding the S26 series as an “AI Phone” designed to simplify users’ lives. The company has not yet detailed specific AI features, but marketing materials suggest a significant emphasis on this technology.
Galaxy Reserve participants who choose to trade in an eligible device can receive up to $900 in credit, while those not trading in a device can receive a $150 credit when they pre-order through Samsung’s website.
