Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: Leaks Reveal Design, Specs & AI Features

February 24, 2026 Rachel Kim – Technology Editor Technology

Marketing materials for Samsung’s forthcoming Galaxy S26 series appeared briefly on Amazon Mexico, revealing key details about the unreleased devices before their official unveiling. The leak, first reported by tech news outlets, showcased the phones’ design, camera specifications, processing power, and new AI capabilities.

The images confirm a redesigned camera housing for both the Galaxy S26 and S26 Ultra, featuring a new island-like structure. Violet appears to be a prominent color in the official product imagery. New Galaxy Buds 4 earbuds were also pictured, appearing in both standard and in-ear variations, likely representing the Buds 4 and Buds 4 “Pro” models.

Contrary to some speculation, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will not feature higher resolution camera sensors than its predecessors. The device will retain a 200-megapixel main camera (utilizing 2x crop zoom), a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens, a 50-megapixel 5x zoom lens (with 10x crop zoom capability), and a 10-megapixel 3x zoom lens. Whether the sensors or lenses themselves have been upgraded remains unclear from the leaked images.

The Galaxy S26 Ultra will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 “for Galaxy” processor. Samsung claims this processor delivers a 19% performance increase in CPU tasks, a 24% improvement in GPU performance, and a 39% boost in AI processing compared to the previous generation Snapdragon 8 Elite.

Battery capacity remains at 5,000 mAh, but Samsung asserts improved overall device efficiency will result in up to 31 hours of video playback. The leak suggests a charging upgrade to 60W, enabling a 75% charge in 30 minutes.

A key feature highlighted in the leaked materials is “Privacy Display,” a function that obscures the screen’s content from onlookers. The display’s brightness is significantly reduced, making it visible only to the user directly in front of the screen. This hardware-based privacy feature could impact sales of privacy screen protectors.

Samsung is also promoting enhancements to its Galaxy AI platform. The “Photo Assist” function allows users to edit photos using text prompts or on-screen drawings. The Galaxy AI platform has been optimized for improved performance, leveraging the new neural processing unit.

The Galaxy S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra are scheduled to be officially unveiled on February 25th at a Galaxy Unpacked event in San Francisco.
