Salvatore Asteriti leaves Uil to join Confial union at Akrea

Salvatore Asteriti, a long-serving corporate representative, has officially left the Uil to join the Confial union. The move alters the union representation framework at Akrea, the in-house company that manages environmental hygiene services in the municipality of Crotone.

Departure Stemmed from Disagreements Over Union Strategy

The decision followed a discussion table held on October 26 regarding the corporate situation, workforce, and industrial prospects of the municipal company. Looking ahead for the company based in Piazza della Resistenza, Asteriti outlined several proposals including scheduled new hires, the progression of transparent competitive procedures, and exit incentives to protect older employees or those with limitations for heavy tasks.
