Salt Lake City Grass Fires Near Freeways Prompt Traffic Delays

Two fires that broke out in Silverthorne have been fully contained,with no reported injuries and traffic flow restored. Officials are investigating the cause of the blazes, though they believe fireworks are an unlikely factor.

The fires were quickly brought under control by emergency crews, minimizing any disruption to local traffic. Roadways have since been reopened, and normal conditions have resumed.

The origin of the fires remains undetermined, according to Silverthorne, who spoke with ABC4.com. Fire authorities have indicated that fireworks are not suspected as the cause, and the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
