Sadiq Al-Sabah confirms Dynamite series for Ramadan 2027 season
Producer Sadiq Al-Sabah of Cedars Art Production (Sabah Brothers) has confirmed the development of a new Syrian drama titled “Dynamite” for the 2027 Ramadan season. The project features a central cast including Samer Ismail, Maram Ali, and Yamen Al-Hajli, alongside the expected participation of Dima Kandalaft.
Preparations are underway to film the series in Damascus as part of the company’s plan to execute its Syrian projects inside Syria, moving away from past practices of filming certain works in Beirut. This marks the company’s second Syrian production slated for the 2027 Ramadan season, running alongside the Tim Hassan-starrer “Hilal.”
Yazan Sharbatji Directs Syrian Social Drama
The contemporary social drama is directed by Syrian director Yazan Sharbatji. The script is a collaborative writing effort involving Ali Wajeh, Yamen Al-Hajli, and Saif Reda Hamed. The narrative is designed to tackle thorny and intricate issues stemming from Syrian society, touching closely upon the daily lives and realities of ordinary people.
Actors Bring Experience from Previous Social Dramas
For Yamen Al-Hajli, “Dynamite” adds to a growing resume where he splits duties between acting and writing, following similar collaborative writing credits on projects such as “Mal Al-Qabban,” “Wlad Badea,” “Ma Waqf Al-Tanfiz,” and “Ala Safih Sakhin.” Meanwhile, Samer Ismail enters the project following recent work alongside Al-Hajli in the currently broadcasting series “Hob Aswad.”
Maram Ali joins the cast following roles across social drama, suspense, and human relations in works including “Al-And,” “2 Qahwa,” and the film “Al-Hares.” To build anticipation for the upcoming trio-led series, Ali shared an image on Instagram featuring herself alongside Al-Sabah, Ismail, and Al-Hajli during a preparatory meeting, captioning the post شي مختلف
