Ryanair Flight Experiences Severe Turbulence, Injuring Crew Members

Palma de Mallorca, Spain – A ⁢Ryanair flight traveling from Vitoria, Spain, to Palma de ⁤Mallorca experienced significant turbulence during ​its descent on ​Sunday, September 21st, resulting in injuries to two crew members.

The incident occurred just before landing at Son Sant Joan Airport, according to a ​report from The sun. The flight, carrying 180 passengers, had been proceeding smoothly until the pilot initiated landing procedures.⁣

As the aircraft descended, ‍it encountered a strong pocket of turbulence caused by a weather ⁢front. The‍ unexpected jolts threw several crew members, who were ⁤conducting final safety checks, off balance.

Two‍ flight attendants sustained ‍injuries. One was reportedly thrown upwards, impacting the⁤ ceiling ‍before falling to the floor.Another was ⁣struck by ​a food service cart that rolled down the aisle ⁢during the turbulence.

Emergency ⁣services were ⁤promptly mobilized‌ and stood ready to assist upon the aircraft’s arrival. Thay provided medical⁢ attention⁤ to the injured crew members after⁤ landing. The extent of thier injuries remains unknown at this time.

Ryanair has been contacted ‍for⁣ comment but has not yet released ​a statement regarding ​the incident.
