Ryan Loder Focused on Evolution After Early UFC challenges
ryan Loder is embracing a growth mindset as he prepares for his next Octagon appearance, viewing past experiences as crucial steps in his progress as a mixed martial artist. Despite a relatively late start to the sport, Loder is rapidly evolving, honing his skills with each training session and fight.
Loder acknowledges he can’t undo previous results, but frames them as invaluable learning opportunities.”I can’t change anything that happened,” he said. “It’s a learning experience. It’s growing from that experience. Now I get to showcase like, OK, now it’s a diffrent fighter. And each time I come out, I’m a different fighter. I’m just getting better, which is scary for a lot of people being a little bit older for the game, but coming into it relatively new and just kind of jumping straight into it, [and] I have amazing people around me that helped me so much… I’m excited to show it.”
He’s been sharpening his tools through training with fighters like Gregor Borshchev and middleweight contender Anthony Hernandez, gaining valuable reps to refine his wrestling base and striking. Loder’s focus isn’t solely on his opponent’s strategy, but on executing his own game plan, aiming to demonstrate the improvements made during camp.
His next challenge comes against a familiar face in the UFC, Ramazan Emeev, who holds a 2-2 record within the promotion. Emeev secured a decision victory over Bruno Silva at UFC 308 before a loss to Jun Yong Park in June. For Loder, the upcoming fight represents another possibility to accumulate Octagon time and pursue his first official UFC win, continuing his trajectory of constant advancement.
