Russian Raids Kill Dozens in Ukraine as Trump Sets Final Deadline

Ukraine has reported a significant increase in Russian aerial attacks, with dozens of drones targeting the southern Rostov region overnight. The strikes resulted in at least one fatality in Salsk, where a person was killed inside their vehicle, and a fire that engulfed a freight train. Additionally, another individual died in their car in the Belgorod border area, with their spouse sustaining injuries.

These developments follow a previous warning from former President Trump in early July, who issued a 50-day ultimatum for the Kremlin to negotiate a truce with Kyiv, threatening economic sanctions if no agreement was reached. Though, this warning has not deterred the ongoing Russian offensive.

The intensified wave of strikes coincides with RussiaS claims of advancing deeper into Ukrainian territory. Last week, Moscow announced the capture of the village of Malevka, marking its first territorial gain in the Dnipropetrovsk region in weeks, a claim that Ukraine has refuted.
