As of 13:25 Western Indonesian Time (WIB),the rupiah had appreciated by 0.07%, reaching Rp16,595 per US dollar.

Initial market data, reported at 09:00 WIB, indicated the rupiah opened with a 0.21% gain, trading at Rp16,563 per US dollar. Bloomberg data also showed a concurrent rise in the US dollar index, up 0.21% too 98.04.
Compared to other Asia-pacific currencies, the rupiah exhibited relative resilience. the Japanese Yen experienced a decline of 1.55%, while the Hong Kong dollar remained stable. The Singapore dollar, Taiwan dollar, and South Korean Won all weakened, falling by 0.19%, 0.35%, and 0.29% respectively.
