The Story of Rotellina
“Wheel” centers around Rotellina, a vibrant and playful child who, like many others, enjoys laughter and games. Though, Rotellina faces a unique challenge: she uses four wheels to get around and is unable to access her local school due to its inaccessible design. The play beautifully illustrates the barriers faced by individuals wiht mobility impairments and the importance of creating inclusive environments.
The narrative takes a hopeful turn when Rotellina connects with a group of supportive friends. Together, they embark on a mission to advocate for change – by writing a letter to the mayor to address the issue of accessibility.The play leaves audiences wondering: will their efforts be successful?

About the Magnificent Wandering Theatre
Founded in Bologna in 2011, the Magnifico Teatrino Errante (Magnificent wandering Theatre) evolved into a Social Promotion Association in 2016. The group’s work focuses on providing theatrical training and producing performances that address critical social, civil, and environmental issues.
What sets this theatre company apart is its inclusive approach. The group is comprised of both actors and non-actors, with and without disabilities. They firmly believe that valuing each individual and prioritizing the quality and substance of their productions are essential for delivering a genuine message of integration and understanding.
