Rosario Central will begin selling tickets for the group stage of the 2026 CONMEBOL Libertadores on Monday, March 23rd, but the launch comes with a logistical change impacting season ticket holders. The club is reallocating a portion of its local supporters to comply with international security regulations, according to a statement released today.

The Operational Security Plan (POS), submitted to CONMEBOL and the Ministry of Security, details that visiting fans will occupy the Cordiviola and upper Genoa stand sections. This directly affects Rosario Central season ticket holders in those areas of the stadium.

According to the club, key points for affected season ticket holders are as follows: purchasers of the Libertadores package will be assigned a seat within the same Cordiviola stand, but it will not be their usual seat due to the security buffer zone requirements. The lower portion of that sector will be inaccessible to local fans, with protective netting and barriers installed.

This change is exclusive to the international competition. Season ticket holders will return to their regular seats for Argentine Professional League matches.

Ticket sales will be conducted online through the Virtual Headquarters and will be divided into two phases. The first phase, running from March 23rd to March 29th, is exclusive to season ticket holders in the local tournament. Purchasing during this phase will maintain a promotional price. Those who wait for the general sale to change sectors will forfeit the season ticket discount.

Sales will begin exclusively for Banco Macro cardholders on Monday. The second phase, starting March 30th, will release any remaining tickets to all Rosario Central members.

Rosario Central has been drawn into Group H of the 2026 CONMEBOL Libertadores, alongside Independiente del Valle (Ecuador), Libertad (Paraguay) and Universidad Central (Venezuela), following the official draw on Thursday, March 19th. The club qualified for the competition as the 2025 League Champion, accumulating 66 points in 32 matches, the most in the Argentine football season. This marks Rosario Central’s 14th participation in the tournament.

The group stage is scheduled to begin the week of April 7th and will conclude on May 28th. The tournament will then pause for the 2026 World Cup, with the round of 16 commencing on August 11th.
