While in a Japanese B&B on May 25, a Chinese man, Mr. Wang, experienced an explosion with his ROMOSS power supply around 6 a.m. The device, which was charging, burst into flames. He initially tried to extinguish the fire with his shoes, but ultimately used water to put out the blaze. The fire spread to a suitcase and triggered a smoke alarm.
