Roman Reigns retains title and ladder matches headline WWE Money In The Bank 2026
WWE Money in the Bank 2026 took place on October 10, 2026, at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, airing with Michael Cole and Corey Graves on commentary.
The event opened unusually early with Roman Reigns defending the Raw World Title against LA Knight. Following a slow start, Knight took control outside and sent Reigns into the ring post and announcers’ table. Reigns countered with a Superman Punch for a two count and later connected with another Superman Punch leading to a spear at 16:31 to retain the title. Post-match, 946 appeared in the crowd, drawing out the Bloodline and Solo Sikoa for a brawl that moved through a bar, into the concourse, and outside where 946 escaped in a car.
Women’s Ladder Match Action
The Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match involved Tiffany Stratton, Sol Ruca, Lash Legend, Roxanne Perez, Lola Vice, and Jacy Jayne. Perez later executed a seesaw ladder shot into Ruca’s face followed by a Lionsault onto Ruca, Legend, and the ladder.
Bron Breakker and Others Compete in Ladder Match
The Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match featured Bron Breakker, Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, Penta, CM Punk, and Kevin Owens, serving as the new main event of the evening. Pre-show coverage also highlighted matches including Stephanie Vaquer defending the Raw Women’s Title in a triple threat against Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan, as well as Oba Femi facing Bronson Reed. While the night concluded with the ladder matches establishing new briefcase holders, questions remain regarding LA Knight’s next steps following his title match defeat.
