The sudden tour cancellation halts a grueling global run that began in March 2025. Stewart’s representatives noted that the artist underwent a successful coronary stent procedure following further medical evaluation. A coronary artery stent is a small, metal mesh tube expanded during angioplasty to open narrowed or blocked blood vessels supplying blood to the heart, preventing vessels from narrowing again, according to Medline Plus data cited by USA TODAY.
The health update arrived just days after the singer postponed a Cincinnati concert hours before showtime due to an unforeseen medical procedure requiring prompt attention. That concert has since been canceled entirely, alongside a dense block of late-summer appearances.
