Rockstar Games Releases New GTA 6 Screenshots Ahead of November Release
Jason stands gripping a fuel nozzle in one of the latest promotional images for Grand Theft Auto VI, reigniting speculation over whether players will need to manage vehicle fuel or electric battery levels. Rockstar Games has published a new launch gallery of screenshots and visuals ahead of the game’s release, following more than 30 minutes of gameplay footage and trailers previously shared. You return to Vice City and discover the fictional state of Leonida. Tanking or recharging has never been in the game, but rumors that you have to refuel in GTA VI appear to be confirmed by the new imagery.
The upcoming action game is scheduled to launch on November 19, 2026, for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.
Rockstar Showcases Jason and Lucia in New Screenshots
The newly released visuals place protagonists Jason and Lucia at the center of many screenshots. In addition, the material highlights various non-player characters (NPCs), environments, cultures, and gameplay scenarios, building upon previous trailers and gameplay footage with extra locations, characters, and pursuits. Rockstar Games publishes the visual material through its own website.
Consoles Require up to 212 GB of Storage Space
Players who have digitally pre-ordered the game can begin downloading Grand Theft Auto VI starting on November 10. PlayStation 5 users can begin downloads at midnight, while Xbox users can start an hour later. Players who purchased a boxed version containing a code will receive their product on November 12 to begin pre-loading.

Rockstar Games advises players to clear space on their consoles, as the game requires up to 212 GB of free storage space depending on the console. By comparison, the entire GTA V game including the Online Mode comprises 110 GB. Doing this means you will not have to stare at a progress bar on November 19 while the rest of the world dives into Vice City. It remains unconfirmed whether the fuel nozzle image officially confirms that players will be required to manage fuel levels during gameplay.
