Roblox Criticised for Super Disturbing Epstein Island Build

Roblox faces ‍criticism after a player recreated Epstein Island within teh game.

Little ⁤Saint⁣ James, known as Epstein Island,⁣ is a private island off the coast of‍ Puerto ⁤Rico.Jeffrey Epstein owned it from 1998 until his death in 2019, and it allegedly served as a base for underage sex trafficking.

Despite this, a Roblox user recreated Epstein Island as the “Saint Silverlemon Isle” map. ‍The build included a villa, cabanas, a yacht, and a secret‍ underground temple. Following backlash, developers took the map offline, but a⁢ guided tour remains available here.

“A Roblox player spent weeks re-creating every aspect ⁤of jeffery Epistein’s child sex island ⁢with hyper-realistic detail directly within the platform.⁣ Super disturbing,” wrote Roblox ‍safety advocate Schlep. One X⁤ user added, “It’s actually fucking disgusting that a platform advertising itself as ‘child friendly’‍ allows this.” Another user wrote, “It’s disgusting,‍ but also remarkable… ⁣how do you put this much work into ‍being a fucking⁣ creep on Roblox??”
