HV71 has bolstered its roster by adding forward Riley Woods,formerly of Modo Hockey. This move follows the acquisition of Lassi Lehtinen, signaling HV71’s intent to strengthen its team for the upcoming season. Woods’ arrival marks another departure from Modo, with David Bernhardt heading to Linköping, Mikkel Aagaard joining skellefteå, and both Lucas Pettersson and Mattias Norlinder signing with Brynäs.

Woods Eager to Contribute

Riley Woods expressed his enthusiasm about joining HV71, stating:

Woods will reunite with Lassi Lehtinen, who also made the switch from Modo to HV71.

A Proven Scorer

Woods brings a consistent scoring record to HV71. During his two years in HockeyAllsvenskan, he tallied 49 and 40 points, respectively. He also recorded 36 and 24 points in two seasons in the SHL. His internal points league rankings during his four years in Ö-vik where one, four, one, and six.
