Resurfaced January 6 Tweets Highlight Natalie Harp’s Longtime Devotion to Trump

August 25, 2026 Julia Evans – Entertainment Editor Entertainment

Years before serving as a key White House aide to U.S. President Donald Trump, Natalie Harp flooded her X account with more than 150 posts on January 6, 2021, urging Republicans to fight for the president, echoing election fraud claims, and praising demonstrators as patriots, according to a CNN review of her now-suspended feed.

The resurfaced archive provides a granular look at the online activity of a staffer who has since climbed into the innermost circle of the administration. According to a CNN review of Harp’s removed X account, formerly known as Twitter, she posted over 150 times on the day of the Capitol riot. At the time, Harp was a 29-year-old One America News Network host whose bio identified her as a Trump advisory board member. As a crowd gathered near the White House, she shared commentary from Trump’s family members declaring that the movement would never die and that the fight had only just begun.

Throughout the morning and afternoon of January 6, Harp challenged lawmakers to show a fraction of the courage of the assembled crowd and declared that the day marked an effort to stop the certification.

She amplified Rudy Giuliani’s call for a trial by combat during his speech, though lawyers for Giuliani later asserted his remarks were hyperbolic rather than a call to violence.

Amplification and Reaction Following the Capitol Breach

As a pro-Trump mob breached the U.S. Capitol and forced lawmakers to halt the electoral count, Harp’s online messaging shifted to defense and alternative narratives. Hours after the building was secured, she again amplified Giuliani, highlighting statements that the disruption had created additional legal options for Trump’s team.

Political science professor David B. Cohen of the University of Akron, who studies the American presidency, told CNN that Harp’s demonstrated devotion aligns with what the president values in staff. “She has proven to be a totally loyal sycophantic adviser and staffer for him,” Cohen said. “Trump likes that, he doesn’t like to be questioned. He likes to be revered, and she clearly does that.” Neither Harp nor the White House responded to CNN requests for comment regarding the resurfaced posts.

Broader Scrutiny and Media Fallout

The public reappearance of Harp’s digital history follows a wave of recent headlines involving the presidential aide. The remark prompted heightened media interest, including a CNN interview conducted by Erin Burnett with Harp’s estranged brother, Preston Harp. During the segment, her brother discussed her long-standing admiration for Trump, which he attributed to their upbringing. Eric Trump subsequently slammed the CNN interview on X, labeling it absolute trash and defending Harp as a hard-working, dedicated public servant and cancer survivor.
