‘Rest & Relaxation‘ Movie From EP Ilana Glazer Sets Cast
First-time feature filmmaker Rebecca Rajadnya has completed production on Rest & Relaxation, a coming-of-age drama filmed in the Catskills. The film boasts Broad City‘s Ilana Glazer as an executive producer.
The indie project centers on Amandeep, played by Sunita Mani, who seeks refuge at a remote bed and breakfast while grappling with a pivotal life decision. There, she encounters a diverse group of guests who challenge her views on family and force her to confront an uncertain future.
Sunita Mani (The Roses) leads a cast including Christine taylor (High Desert), Scott Cohen (The Penguin), Nicholas Podany (Saturday Night), and Christopher Egan (Dominion). Additional cast members are Daniel Isaac (Elsbeth), Kathryn Gallagher (Woman of the Hour), and newcomer Isa Mooney.
Adam Chitayat,Amanda Jabes,and Taylor are producing. Executive producers also include SJ Allocco-St. Germain, Drew Auer, and Arielle haller Silverstone of Tiny Office Productions.
