Reports: Bengals QB Burrow won’t play against Patriots

Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe ‌Burrow will remain sidelined for⁢ this⁤ Sunday’s game against the New‌ England Patriots, according to reports from multiple sources on Saturday. Burrow has been⁣ recovering from a turf toe injury ⁢sustained during the Bengals’ September⁣ 14th victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Despite being listed as questionable, Burrow will not be activated‍ off injured reserve in time for the Week 11 matchup. he had recently returned to practice, participating in 11-on-11 drills this week, but has not yet reached full recovery.

Joe Flacco will start at quarterback for the Bengals (3-7), who have lost seven of their last eight games. Flacco is currently managing a shoulder injury that limited his practice participation⁢ this week.

The Bengals face a ‍short week, with a Thanksgiving Day game against the baltimore Ravens scheduled for Week 12.
