Reneé Rapp will make her Australian debut as part of the AO Live 2026 lineup at the Australian Open, joining previously announced performers the Kid LAROI, The Veronicas, and SOFI TUKKER. The singer-songwriter and actress’s performance marks a critically important addition to the event’s entertainment programme, expanding its appeal beyond tennis to a broader audience.
The Australian Open’s AO live series has become a key component of the tournament experience, attracting diverse crowds with a mix of musical acts and events.Rapp’s inclusion reflects a strategy to draw younger fans and capitalize on her rising popularity, following a breakthrough year that saw her albums Bite Me and Snow Angel achieve chart success. Tickets for AO Live include access to the arena concert and the Australian Open precinct, featuring acoustic sets and DJ parties.
Rapp’s second studio album,Bite Me,debuted at No. 1 on the U.K. albums chart and no. 3 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Her 2023 debut, Snow Angel, achieved the largest first-week sales for a female artist’s debut album in the U.S. that year.
Prior to the Australian Open performance, Rapp will embark on a European tour in early 2026, beginning on March 11 at Lotto Arena in Antwerp, Belgium, and concluding on March 22 at the 3Arena in dublin, Ireland.
Rapp gained initial recognition for her role as Regina George in the Mean Girls Broadway musical (2022) and the 2024 film adaptation. She also contributed to the film’s soundtrack alongside Olivia Rodrigo on the track “Not My Fault.”
AO Pride Day on January 30 will feature The Veronicas and SOFI TUKKER, while DJ and producer Peggy Gou will perform after the men’s final. The event is presented by Tennis Australia and Untitled Group.
