CBC London Asks: Honor a VeteranS Memory on Remembrance Day
LONDON, ON – CBC London is inviting the community to share personal stories of remembrance as Canada prepares to mark Remembrance Day on November 11. The broadcast network seeks to honour the service of veterans, those who served at home, and individuals who supported others through their dedication, by featuring submitted memories on London Morning.
Remembrance Day provides an possibility to reflect on the sacrifices made by members of the Canadian Armed Forces and to acknowledge the ongoing impact of their service. CBC London aims to amplify those personal connections, giving voice to the gratitude felt by Londoners for those who have served. By sharing these stories, the network hopes to deepen the community’s understanding of the meaning of Remembrance Day and its continued relevance.
London Morning will dedicate airtime to these reflections during its Remembrance day coverage this Tuesday.
How to Participate:
CBC London is asking listeners to submit a short voice memo or MP3 recording detailing the person they are remembering and why their service is meaningful. Submissions can be emailed to londonmorning@cbc.ca by 5 p.m. on Monday, or texted to 519-281-6593.

* Your name and location.
* The name of the person you are remembering.
* A brief description of their service and its significance to you.
