LINCOLN, NEB. – the University of Nebraska volleyball program celebrated its recent success with a banner reveal during a team event, signaling the start of preparations for the 2025 season.The Huskers are coming off a historic run, having shared the 2023 Big ten Conference championship with Penn state, marking thier second consecutive league title – a feat not achieved since the 2016 and 2017 seasons.
Nebraska’s dominance in the Big Ten has been particularly pronounced in recent years, boasting a 19-1 conference record in both 2023 and 2024. This success builds upon a strong legacy, as the program previously secured five consecutive conference championships during its time in the Big 12 from 2004 too 2008.
The banner reveal, captured by KLIN’s Kenny Larabee, recognizes the team’s accomplishments and sets the stage for continued pursuit of excellence. The event took place at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Looking ahead,the Huskers have released their schedule for the 2025 season. Home matches will be played at the CHI Health Center Omaha and the Devaney Center on the University of Nebraska-Lincoln campus.All times listed are Central Time.
