Real Madrid seeks to continue it’s perfect start to the La Liga season on Thursday, hosting espanyol at the Bernabéu (4:15 p.m.). Coming off a 2-1 Champions League victory against Olympique de Marseille on September 16, 2025, Real Madrid currently leads the league with 12 points from a possible 12.
This match marks the second consecutive home game for Real Madrid, who aim to extend a five-game winning streak – four in La Liga and one in the Champions League – to maintain their position atop the standings.

“We play at home and we want to make a good game and win,” stated Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso in a pre-match press conference.The squad includes Bellingham and Camavinga, both hoping to make their season debuts. Endrick, recovered from injury, is also available, alongside Mbappé, who has scored six goals this season, including two against Marseille. Huijsen is unavailable due to a red card received in a previous match against Anoeta.
Espanyol‘s Challenge
