Actor Raoul Bova has filed a lawsuit against Fabrizio Corona, alleging defamation and teh illegal dissemination of personal data. The legal action stems from Corona’s publication of private messages exchanged between Bova and Martina Ceretti.
According to reports from Corriere della Sera, Bova’s lawsuit claims Corona acted with the intent to profit and cause harm. this alleged violation of privacy is punishable by up to three years in prison. Bova’s defense contends that Corona’s actions on his Telegram channel, where he encouraged followers to share the content, constitute this offense.
“Share it with your friends guys, so we normalize this ‘VIP’ a little, which are no longer cool than you,” Corona reportedly wrote in a message that prompted the lawsuit.
The plaintiff’s side describes Corona’s conduct as “wicked” and asserts that the profit motive is “undeniable.” The lawsuit highlights that access to Corona’s YouTube channel requires a paid subscription, and advertising revenue further contributes to his earnings. The damage to Bova, as reported by Corriere della Sera, is attributed to Corona’s “viral diffusion of illegally published content, exploited for the purposes of ridicule and irrelevant.”
Annamaria Bernardinna De Pace, the actor’s lawyer,is also representing him in matters concerning his daughters and has filed a report with the privacy Guarantor.
The lawsuit also addresses Corona’s alleged use of the phrase “dad of fuck” in reference to Bova, describing it as passing “Once again for the good person who is not.” The suit claims these statements, which attempt to portray Bova negatively and present false facts as news, are “unfounded, humiliating and unjustifiably aggressive.”
Corona is not currently under inquiry for attempted extortion. he has been questioned as a person informed about the facts, but investigators are not focusing on him in relation to that specific inquiry.
