Raji: Kaliyuga Trailer Showcases Enhanced Combat and Epic Story
Nodding Heads Games, the studio behind the critically acclaimed Raji: An Ancient Epic, has released a new trailer for their upcoming sequel, Raji: Kaliyuga. The trailer offers a first look at the game’s dark and immersive world, introducing new enemies, mystical creatures, and the central sibling protagonists, Raji and Darsh.
Raji: Kaliyuga expands upon the original’s combat system with new mechanics and abilities. Raji utilizes a divine trishul alongside acrobatic martial arts, complemented by an evasion system designed for fluid movement during combat.Her younger brother, Darsh, brings unique powers to the battlefield, manipulating gravity, time, and energy.
Players will be able to combine Darsh’s abilities with Raji’s fighting style,utilizing siddhi-based skills that unlock special movements and diverse approaches to overcoming challenges. The game emphasizes player agency, allowing for the creation of personalized fighting styles and problem-solving methods.
The story is set six years after the events of Raji: An Ancient Epic, escalating the conflict from earthly disputes to cosmic battles involving gods, asuras, and other mystic forces. Raji and Darsh embark on a perilous journey to the Eternal Summit, navigating dimensions of time and space. Darsh’s character arc is deepened by his role as a dream walker haunted by visions of the past and future, culminating in a pivotal decision: save the universe or destroy it to end the war.
Raji: Kaliyuga is slated for release on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as Xbox Series X|S and playstation 5.
