Radiohead has postponed its December 1st⁤ and 2nd concerts in Copenhagen due to a severe throat infection affecting lead singer Thom Yorke, rendering him unable to perform. The band ‍announced‌ that the shows ‌will be rescheduled for December⁣ 15th and 16th, with ‌existing tickets automatically transferred to the ‌new dates.

this postponement impacts fans eagerly anticipating radiohead’s return to the stage after a⁢ seven-year hiatus, marking their first‍ performances since 2018. radiohead expressed their disappointment, stating, “We ‍have been so blown away by the audience reactions on these dates and are loving⁢ being back on stage again… Needless to say, we feel terrible that ‍we have been forced to postpone these shows.”

Throughout the first twelve shows ⁢of the tour, ⁢Radiohead has performed⁢ a‌ diverse setlist of 45 songs, including rarely played tracks like “Sit Down. Stand Up,” “Jigsaw Falling Into ⁤Place,” and ‌”(Nice Dream).”

in a recent interview with The⁢ Sunday Times, Yorke reflected ⁣on the band’s decision to pause touring prior to this run, explaining, “I ⁤guess the wheels came off a bit, so we had ‌to stop… There were a lot of elements. The shows felt great but⁤ it was, like, let’s halt now before we walk off this cliff.”
